About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY — Handle, hang, and unload parts on overhead conveyor moving at approximate speeds of two 8-10 feet per minute. Will require standing at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time. Must be able to operate hand truck. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. WORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.

Requirements

• Ability to operate hand truck
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and control plan
• Ability inspect parts for company quality standards
• Ability to set up line with proper hook configurations
• Must be quality driven and have good housekeeping habits
• Education: High School Graduate, GED, or HSDE preferred
• Computer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy

Nice To Haves

• Experience: Any manufacturing and/or assembly experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle, hang, and unload parts on overhead conveyor moving at speeds of up to 8-10 feet per minute
• Operate a hand truck
• Perform necessary testing to assure quality of parts in an environmentally safe state and maintain records
• Clean and change nozzles within the wash system
• Dump/refill wash stages as needed
• Fill out proper paperwork for quality standards
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers
• Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings
