About The Position

The Parts Front Counter Salesperson performs a variety of customer service, in store, marketing, promoting, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships parts department. Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities. This is a customer facing role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years clear driving record- No previous DUI history or moving violations
• No prior criminal history
• 1 year automotive parts sales experience helpful
• High level of dependability and organization
• Successful selling skills
• Knowledge of dealerships parts inventory
• Good relationship building skills
• Ethical Conduct
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to discuss technical details
• Valid driver's license is required
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper training for parts position.
• Receive and fill telephone orders.
• Fill customer orders from stock.
• Bill sales slips properly.
• Receive proper payment.
• Examine return parts for defects and process.
• Keep working area clean and organized.
• Assist in annual inventories.
• Store parts in proper locations in warehouse.
• Place new merchandise on display.
• Maintain a good working relationship with outside vendors.
• Turn in daily paperwork.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork and camaraderie.
• Maintain lost sales records.
