About The Position

The Parts Driver has front line responsibility for customer interaction related to safe and efficient delivery of parts to our customers and pick-up from vendors. This includes loading parts delivery vehicles, checking each load for 100% complete and accurate order fulfillment, performing safety checks of delivery vehicles, obeying all traffic laws and driving defensively, professionally representing Pearson Peterbilt Group at customer locations in appearance, attitude and communication, accurate record keeping through signatures on delivery paperwork, returned goods paperwork (RGM's), etc., and collection of COD checks and credit card payments, with phone in verification.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets Pearson Peterbilt Group's criteria
• Commercial Driver Medical Certification is required
• Ability to use computer and calculator
• Ability to drive and operate a fork-lift safely
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts
• Professional personal appearance and dress
• Mandatory smartphone capability (personal smartphone capable of downloading, installing, and reliably operating company-issued mobile applications for safety inspections, coaching materials, driving performance monitoring, critical notifications, safety resources, and payroll/attendance processes)
• Willingness to submit to a background check
• Willingness to submit to a post-offer drug screen

• Will be trained on parts department's computer inventory system
