About The Position

Valley Freightliner of Mansfield is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Part-Time Parts Driver to join our team. The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up truck parts and related products for customers, vendors, and other company locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of the Parts Department. A CDL is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull parts weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per day.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Previous delivery, automotive parts, heavy-duty truck parts, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of commercial truck parts is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and supplies to customers and designated locations accurately and on schedule.
• Pick up parts, returns, and other materials from vendors and customers as needed.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Load and unload parts and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain communication with the Parts Department regarding delivery schedules and customer needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all customer interactions.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Assist with stocking, organizing, receiving, and inventory tasks within the Parts Department when not making deliveries.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, DOT regulations, and traffic laws.
