About The Position
Ballard Truck Center in Portland, ME is looking for a Part time, Parts Delivery Driver. The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering parts to customers timely and courtesy.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Must have valid driver’s license, Medical card and an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, preferably Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to the dealership.
- Coordinate orders for pick up from customers, satellite stores or vendors with the Parts Manager, parts department staff and/or the Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk.
- Obtain recipient’s signature upon delivery and maintain a log of delivery times.
- Unload truck each night and return all documents and undelivered parts to the Parts Department.
- Maintain basic upkeep of the delivery truck; check oil with each fill-up; lubricate monthly and schedule safety inspections.
- Collect payment from wholesale customers.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
- Comply with required health and safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties as required.
