About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of McKinney is seeking a Parts Driver to join their team. This role involves coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, checking parts needs for the body shop, verifying invoices, performing basic truck maintenance, assisting with stocking orders, and supporting the service department with customer vehicle drop-off and pick-up. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all company safety policies.

Requirements

High School Diploma
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, and shipping/receiving staff to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
Check with the body shop daily to determine parts needs and deliver parts to appropriate technicians.
Verify invoices match purchase orders and confirm payments for each delivery; maintain accurate daily delivery and pick-up logs with recipient signatures.
Unload truck each night, turn in all paperwork, and manage undelivered parts.
Perform basic truck maintenance including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and required inspections; report major repair needs to the parts manager.
Assist with stocking and posting incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
Support the service department with customer vehicle drop-off and pick-up responsibilities as needed.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to all company safety policies; immediately report any accidents to management.
