About The Position
Performance Ford of Somerville is seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team in Somerville, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to customers and service departments promptly and safely, ensuring excellent customer service and supporting the overall efficiency of our dealership operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a driver or delivery role preferred, especially in automotive parts delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Somerville and surrounding areas preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to customers, repair shops, and service departments in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required.
- Ensure the safe handling and secure transportation of all parts and products.
- Assist with inventory management and organization in the parts department as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parts personnel and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
