About The Position

Bergstrom Appleton Wholesale Parts is seeking a Part-Time Wholesale Parts Delivery Driver to join their team. As a Parts Driver, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to wholesale customers promptly and courteously, verifying order accuracy, and maintaining a professional demeanor. You will also safely operate and maintain company delivery vehicles, assist with loading and unloading parts, and collect payments or documentation as needed. Effective communication with the parts department and customers is key, as is performing routine vehicle checks and assisting with parts inventory when not on deliveries. This role offers a flexible schedule and is a great opportunity to join Wisconsin's largest dealership group.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to adhere to delivery schedules.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable operating a wide range of vehicles, from compact electric vehicles (EVs) to larger models such as Ford Transit vans.
  • Proficient in basic smartphone operations to efficiently utilize Bergstrom's logistics software and applications for dispatch, tracking, and communication tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with automotive parts or dealership operations is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver automotive parts to wholesale customers promptly and courteously.
  • Verify delivery orders for accuracy and ensure all items are properly accounted for.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers, representing Bergstrom Automotive positively.
  • Safely operate and maintain company delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading parts from the delivery vehicle.
  • Collect payments or required documentation from customers as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the parts department and customers regarding delivery schedules or delays.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs or issues promptly.
  • Assist with parts inventory management, stocking, and organization when not making deliveries.
