About The Position
Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a part time Parts Driver to add to our team for our high volume & high loyalty parts department for immediate hire. We are a full service FCA franchised (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram) dealership, selling and servicing Cars, Trucks & SUV's for 50+ years. You will be working with the one of the most experienced parts managers in the business, with over 35 years’ experience. Our service business is growing rapidly and the opportunities for personal growth at our organization could never be better.
Requirements
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain the physical capability of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Once a conditional offer of employment is issued, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and pass driving record insurability standards (MVR)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Picks up and delivers parts to customers, neighboring dealerships, wholesale accounts, and vendors
- Assist all customers and vendors in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Checks with the parts manager and parts counter people before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries
- Pulls and fills orders from stock, as needed
- Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
- Secure and unload parts van each night
- Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule
