About The Position

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door in the parts world and build a long-term career. You'll be delivering parts, supporting our shipping and receiving process, helping keep the department organized, and learning how a busy parts operation works from the ground up. In short: you'll be a key part of the team that keeps our customers, technicians, and dealerships moving.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, shipping/receiving, automotive, agriculture, trucking, or parts would be an asset — but we're willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently delivering and picking up parts, cores, and equipment.
  • Supporting the parts department with shipping, receiving, stocking, and general organization.
  • Delivering parts to customer locations as required.
  • Picking up and returning parts and cores from customer locations.
  • Completing return slips and providing them to the shipper/receiver.
  • Picking up and delivering parts and equipment between dealership locations.
  • Obtaining customer signatures for deliveries when required.
  • Working with the shipper/receiver to check off incoming orders and notify parts staff when parts have arrived.
  • Helping unload shipment trucks and ensuring documents and undelivered parts are handled properly.
  • Checking bills of lading, invoices, orders, and shipment records for accuracy.
  • Recording shortages or damage before signing off on shipments.
  • Preparing shipments by labeling packages, recording weights, and using proper packing materials.
  • Stocking shelves and ensuring parts are placed in the correct locations.
  • Notifying the Inventory Controller of any discrepancies.
  • Informing parts staff of core returns and ensuring cores are labeled properly.
  • Keeping the parts truck clean inside and out.
  • Completing safety checklists on parts vehicles.
  • Reporting vehicle issues or maintenance concerns to the Parts Manager.
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department.
  • Keeping aisles clear, sweeping floors, taking out garbage, and helping the store look professional.
  • Advising management of any unsafe or hazardous materials.
