About The Position

This position supports daily operations by transporting parts and/or equipment to and from scheduled locations offsite (vendors, customers, service suppliers, etc.). The role involves delivering and picking up parts and equipment, ensuring correct items reach the appropriate destinations, and operating the company vehicle. The driver is responsible for maintaining an organized and safe work area, accurately recording work hours, and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. This role also requires participation in required training and demonstrating the company's core values.

  • The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
  • Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

  • Work includes frequent movement around company premises and external locations.
  • Duties are performed partially on company premises and partially in transit to other various locations.
  • May transport parts in the company provided vehicle for several hours at a time.
  • Work includes driving, moving parts and interaction with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and departments as requested.
  • Picks up parts and equipment from customers, vendors, and departments as requested.
  • Loads and unloads parts and equipment to and from the truck.
  • Ensures that the correct products and parts are delivered to the appropriate customer, vendor, or department.
  • Operates the vehicle used to deliver and pick up parts and equipment.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
