About The Position

The Parts Driver - Kia is responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and other dealerships. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parts department, ensuring the safe operation of the delivery vehicle, and utilizing personal devices for network security. The position requires adherence to safety precautions and may involve other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Good interpersonal skills, able to work well with a wide range of individuals
Good communication skills
Good time management skills, able to prioritize multiple jobs
Ability to maintain a good driving record
Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and be able to drive a vehicle

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, vendors and other dealerships
Monitor and maintain good housekeeping, morale, safety, and security habits for the department
Coordinate with Parts Manager before leaving
Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient’s signature
Unload truck each night, turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
Responsible for basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication
Enforce safety precautions specific to your work area
Other responsibilities as assigned
