About The Position
As a Parts, Delivery, Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Asheville Chevrolet in Asheville, NC, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of parts as well as managing shipping and receiving operations. This role is critical in supporting the smooth functioning of our parts department and maintaining excellent service standards to our customers and service teams.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles and handle packages safely.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or parts delivery preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to customers and service departments efficiently and safely.
- Handle shipping and receiving duties, including verifying shipments, unloading, and organizing parts inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and receipts.
- Communicate effectively with parts department, service teams, and customers.
- Ensure all deliveries comply with company and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation.
