About The Position
Jim Falk Motors of Maui is looking for career-minded individuals to join their team as a Parts Department Delivery Driver. This is an entry-level position with potential for growth and advancement within the automotive parts field. The role involves safely delivering parts between the dealership, suppliers, and other designated sites. An ideal candidate is trustworthy, organized, and familiar with the local area, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of all items.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be punctual and have excellent workplace attendance.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete routes in a timely manner.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transport parts between company, supplier, customer locations, and other designated sites.
- Ensure the safe transportation and handling of company vehicles at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
- Prepare appropriate paperwork for all delivered vehicles, as necessary.
- Assess daily vehicle transport needs and coordinate with appropriate personnel for any necessary vehicle operations or instructions.
- Load, unload, or assist in loading and unloading vehicles.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically throughout an 8 hour shift.
- Carry out any other duties assigned.
