About The Position
Miles Chevrolet is seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Delivery Driver to join our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts efficiently and safely to our customers and service departments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries that support our commitment to excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry parts as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in parts delivery or automotive industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to various locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Load and unload parts carefully to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
