About The Position

This role is primarily responsible for delivering product locally to customers. The driver may also be responsible for operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, or other equipment necessary for loading and/or unloading. The position requires maintaining a clean vehicle, operating machinery safely, and developing courteous working relationships with clients and vendors. Outstanding customer service and communication regarding parts and deliveries are essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift Certification Required
• Chauffeurs License Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers product locally to customers
• Load, unload, and sort product by operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, or other necessary equipment
• Keep a clean and orderly vehicle at all times
• Operate the vehicle and other machinery in a safe manner
• Develops and maintains courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors, and/or any other representatives of external organizations
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate to customers regarding their purchased parts and/or scheduled delivery
• Other duties as needed
