Parts Delivery Driver
About The Position
This position is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and components locally. Picks up and delivers parts, cylinders, and components for repair and return, ensuring timely and accurate transport. Writes parts orders and credits during customer visits. Provides maintenance of parts consignments at customer job sites. Assists in warehouse operations including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, performing inventory counts, and pulling orders for customers. Maintains cleanliness and contamination control standards when not on delivery routes. Participates in training and contributes to company-wide initiatives and strategic projects. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Proof of driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
- Working knowledge of blocking and rigging.
- Working knowledge of delivery vehicles and trailers.
- Working knowledge of forklift operation.
- Working knowledge of cables, chains, tie downs, and load binders.
- Ability to develop and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a Sales Environment.
- Consistent attendance.
- Ability to obtain forklift operators certification.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months delivery driver experience preferred.
