About The Position

This position is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and components locally. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate transport of parts, cylinders, and components for repair and return. Additionally, the driver will write parts orders and credits during customer visits, provide maintenance of parts consignments at customer job sites, and assist in warehouse operations such as receiving shipments, stocking shelves, performing inventory counts, and pulling orders for customers. The position also requires maintaining cleanliness and contamination control standards when not on delivery routes, participating in training, and contributing to company-wide initiatives and strategic projects. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of blocking and rigging.
  • Working knowledge of delivery vehicles and trailers.
  • Working knowledge of forklift operation.
  • Ability to obtain forklift operators certification.
  • Working knowledge of cables, chains, tie downs, and load binders.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a Sales Environment.
  • Consistent attendance.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Proof of driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months delivery driver experience preferred.
