About The Position
JX Enterprises is hiring a Parts Delivery Driver in Madison, Wisconsin. The driver supports customer service by pulling and loading daily parts orders, transporting parts between branches and customer sites, and placing parts in requested locations. The role includes vehicle inspections and fueling, paperwork, handling credits and returns with the Parts Counter team, and collaborating with colleagues to create positive customer experiences. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to troubleshoot traffic flow and road conditions.
- Ability to adhere to established safe-driving guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Dependable and reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard company assets, including vehicles and parts, and follow safety protocols.
- Pull daily delivery orders from branch inventory and load the delivery truck.
- Manually handle parts for delivery to and from branches and customer sites.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and fuel vehicles.
- Drive a delivery van or parts vehicle throughout an 8-hour shift, making several stops.
- Use a pallet jack or forklift to move parts to requested locations in customers’ buildings.
- Complete paperwork, including bills of lading, and assemble mail.
- Work with Parts Counter personnel to handle credits and returns.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to cultivate positive customer experiences.
- Perform other assigned duties to support the business.
