About The Position

The Parts Delivery Driver operates under the supervision of the Parts Manager and is primarily responsible for delivering product locally to customers. This role may also involve operating equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, or dolly for loading and unloading. The driver is expected to maintain a clean vehicle, operate machinery safely, and provide excellent customer service. This position requires driving for extended periods and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift Certification Required
• Chauffeurs License Required
• Clean Driving Record is required and the ability to meet our insurance requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers product locally to customers
• Load, unload, and sort product by operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, or other necessary equipment
• Keep a clean and orderly vehicle at all times
• Operate the vehicle and other machinery in a safe manner
• Develops and maintains courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors, and/or any other representatives of external organizations
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate to customers regarding their purchased parts and/or scheduled delivery
• Other duties as assigned
