About The Position

The Parts Delivery Driver delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, keeps inventory control, and maintains a safe and secure environment. This position also works within the Dealership warehouse stocking parts, performs cycle counting, pulls orders, processes dirty cores, and performs general warehouse duties. The incumbent in this position is expected to model alignment with the company's mission and core business values, collaborate with key internal/external resources, and participate in ongoing self-development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Forklift certified
Some delivery experience is preferred
Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of trucking industry helpful

Responsibilities

Deliver to customer safely, efficiently and on time
Ensure proper inventory control
Make sure customer needs are met and any issues addressed
Ensure proper items pulled for delivery order
Properly load orders into delivery vehicle
Delivery to customers in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain proper condition of delivery vehicle and notify supervisor of any repairs needed
Verify orders for correct pulls
Ensure cores are returned for credit
Return incorrectly ordered parts
Stock shelves as needed
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
Ensure orders are delivered on time
Ensure all orders are accurate before delivery
Quickly resolve any erroneous parts deliveries
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Performs other duties assigned
