About The Position

The Parts Data Analysis is responsible for the full lifecycle analysis of data, including mining, generating, and visualizing data across the Parts organization. This role will need to transform data into readable, goal-oriented reports that turn data into information and insights that drive decisions in the department. The Parts Data Analyst is expected to work in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team”.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics
  • 2+ years' experience mining data as a data analyst
  • 2+ years' experience working with SQL, Targit, Excel or other database management systems
  • 2+ years' experience writing and developing queries, reports, and presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
  • Drive automation of processes and visual representation of data sets
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
  • Develop and provide ongoing reports of internal and external KPIs such as, on time fill, profitability, unassigned and assigned core performance, safety performance, emergency order percentages, and pending customer orders requiring action
  • Develop customer facing KPIs such as, open work orders, outstanding cores, pending parts orders and current status, and open account receivables
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and processes, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize data
  • Acquire and mine data from primary and secondary sources
  • Define new processes for continuous improvement
  • Assist with training at Branch locations to improve overall processes
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
