About The Position
Route 128 Honda is looking for a motivated Parts Counter Person to join their high-volume, customer-focused team. This role is a key part of the operation, supporting both retail customers and the busy service department with genuine Honda parts and accessories. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-first, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Requirements
- Previous automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Dealership experience is a plus
- Honda experience is a bonus
- CDK or similar system experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians and retail customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts
- Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product recommendations
- Manage parts orders, including special orders and backorders
- Receive, stock, and maintain inventory with accuracy
- Process transactions and complete paperwork efficiently
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized parts department
- Deliver a high level of customer service on every interaction
