Dealership Parts Counterperson
About The Position
The International Autos Group is looking for a motivated parts counter person to help our busy shop and outside parts sales. This role is ideal for someone currently working for a third-party distributor seeking the structure and stability of a new car dealership, or for an individual not receiving adequate recognition in their current dealership parts department. The company is expanding due to record months and high demand, requiring continued extraordinary service for customers and technicians. The International Autos Group is a family-owned and operated group of dealerships serving customers in the Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Chicago, Northwest Indiana markets and Minnesota. The organization is committed to employee growth and internal promotion.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Experience with auto parts sales
Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part request for the customer
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
