Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Previous automotive parts experience preferred
Knowledge of automotive parts and components
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership parts and inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to safely lift, pull, and move automotive parts and inventory as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Assist customers, Service Technicians, and dealership team members with automotive parts needs
Identify, locate, and provide the correct parts accurately and efficiently
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with a positive, professional attitude
Use dealership computer systems and parts catalogs to research, locate, and order parts
Fulfill Service Technician repair orders accurately and efficiently
Properly receive, check in, stock, and organize incoming parts
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure parts labeling is current
Communicate parts availability, pricing, specials, and warranty information to customers
Assist with dealership parts inventories and inventory counts
Perform shipping and receiving duties for retail and wholesale customers
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Parts Department
