About The Position

Transteck, Inc. is seeking an experienced Parts Counter person for their heavy truck dealership. This position will involve in-person, phone, email, and online sales of parts. The role also includes cross-training in warehouse and parts delivery functions. The company is one of the largest Freightliner dealer groups in the North East United States with 14 locations and 4 body shops, over 200 trained technicians, and a significant parts inventory. They emphasize providing state-of-the-art facilities, training, and equipment while maintaining a personal touch across their 13 locations from Pittsburgh to Northern VA.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One-Two years sales experience preferred
• Clean driving record
• Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• In person/phone/email/online sales
• Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
• Meet sales goals and gross profit goals
• Order parts according to dealership procedures
• Maintain special order parts for service department
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed
• Process core/warranty according to company guidelines
