Parts Counter Salesperson
About The Position
Super Truck Center, located in Genoa City, WI, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter – Salesperson to join our growing team. This is a multi-faceted position responsible for assisting both internal fleet mechanics (Rock Solid and Super Agg) and external customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing parts. Requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of inventory control
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions or changes in priorities
- Previous experience in a parts store
- Willingness to learn the truck parts industry
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Computer knowledge must include MS Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook
Nice To Haves
- Heavy-duty truck experience preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist internal fleet mechanics of Rock Solid and Super Agg with all their parts needs.
- Answer phones promptly and courteously.
- Assist walk-in customers with their needs.
- Receive daily orders and notify customers of part arrivals.
- Assist with housekeeping of parts department inventory.
- Actively manage the return of cores and warranty parts.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels, receiving, and invoicing.
- Alert the parts manager of the inventory parts that are low in quantity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
