About The Position

The Parts Counter Specialist plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting parts sales, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. This position requires strong product knowledge, technical aptitude, and the ability to build lasting relationships with both customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in parts counter sales or related field
  • Completion of required Kubota Parts training
  • Completion of required Stihl Parts training
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (up to 60+ lbs occasionally)
  • Frequent reaching, handling, and keyboarding
  • Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday
  • Full-time position
  • Standard schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday shifts during harvest seasons
  • Attendance is essential to support business operations and customer needs
  • All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe workplace

  • Shadow experienced team members at the counter
  • Begin Kubota and Stihl required training programs
  • Develop basic product knowledge and customer interaction skills
  • Understand inventory processes and daily operations
  • Independently assist customers with standard parts requests
  • Demonstrate accuracy in parts identification and order processing
  • Continue and complete required manufacturer trainings
  • Build familiarity with inventory management and stocking procedures
  • Strengthen problem-solving skills for customer needs
  • Begin contributing to team efficiency and workflow improvements
  • Operate independently with strong product and system knowledge
  • Handle complex customer requests and technical inquiries
  • Serve as a resource for newer team members
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience
  • Maintain full compliance with Kubota and Stihl training requirements
