About The Position

Professional Tree & Turf Equipment has been serving professionals from Arvada, Colorado for over 40 years, supplying, fabricating, and servicing commercial spraying equipment for arborists, lawn care operators, pest control operators, turf professionals, and municipal customers across the Front Range. The company operates as a small, knowledgeable team, and its customers rely on them for both product and expertise. The role is a customer-facing counter sales and inside sales position, central to the business. The representative will handle inbound inquiries by phone, email, and in person, building quotes, identifying parts, processing orders, and helping customers find the right solutions for their equipment needs. Additionally, the role involves keeping service customers informed throughout the repair process, from intake through invoicing and pickup. This is not a passive order-taking role; the ideal candidate will ask good questions, quickly learn the product line, and become a trusted resource for customers.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation -- professional, responsive, and reliable
  • Prior experience in counter sales, inside sales, or parts sales; candidates with strong customer service backgrounds in any industry are encouraged to apply
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable in a small business environment where roles overlap
  • Basic computer skills -- email, web research, order entry

Nice To Haves

  • Counter or parts sales experience from any trade or supply background -- auto parts, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hardware, irrigation, ag supply, or landscape supply
  • Familiarity with engines, pumps, spray equipment, or similar mechanical components
  • Experience identifying parts from descriptions, photos, or samples
  • Any background serving professional contractors, tradespeople, or field operators

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls, emails, and walk-ins for parts, equipment, and product inquiries
  • Build quotes and process orders for equipment, parts, and supplies
  • Help customers identify unknown parts from descriptions, photos, or physical samples
  • Support customers from equipment drop-off through repair completion -- intake, status updates, invoicing, and pickup
  • Conduct basic parts research to support shop technicians
  • Process outbound orders and receive incoming shipments
  • Keep daily operations organized and running smoothly across a small team
