About The Position

SEI is looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative in our Harrisburg, PA location, to help keep our customers and service teams operating at their best. As a vital member of our Parts Department, you'll assist customers and technicians in finding the right parts quickly and accurately, manage inventory activities, and help ensure equipment stays up and running. Stephenson Equipment, Inc has been an industry leader in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, D.C., and Virginia since 1957, providing sales, rentals, parts and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building and road maintenance equipment.

Requirements

• Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Prior experience in parts sales, equipment, automotive, construction, agricultural, or industrial industries preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6-12 months of customer service, sales, parts, or related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate from a technical school, vocational program, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, trucking, agricultural equipment, automotive, or industrial parts.
• Knowledge of equipment manufacturers such as JCB, LeeBoy, Dynapac, Rosco, etc.
• Experience with dealer management systems and electronic parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians with parts identification and ordering.
• Process parts orders, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory.
• Research parts using manufacturer resources and catalogs.
• Coordinate with service personnel regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory counts.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.
• Willingness to assist with warehouse and inventory responsibilities as needed.
