Responsible for parts sales, including looking up part numbers, ordering parts, pulling parts from bins, and invoicing parts for counter customers, the service department, and the sales department. This role also involves verifying receiving parts and whole goods shipments by checking orders against packing lists and entering them into the company's computer inventory system. The clerk will follow up on parts shortages and warranties by completing required forms to manufacturers and supplying service technicians with parts via parts requisition forms. Responsibilities include stocking parts bins, merchandising displays, assembling and stocking whole goods displays in showroom areas, and assisting with parts inventory and updates in the company's computer system. The role also focuses on controlling parts inventory shrinkage and maintaining customer goodwill. As many responsibilities overlap with the parts manager, the clerk should work closely with the manager to ensure harmony.
