About The Position

Penske Honda, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Representative to join their team. The role involves supporting retail and wholesale customers, as well as service technicians, by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts. This position contributes to customer satisfaction and smooth operations within the dealership.

Requirements

  • Availability to work a fixed schedule of Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 AM--7:00 PM, and Saturdays, 8:00 AM--3:00 PM.

  • High school diploma or the equivalent and one-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support both retail and wholesale customers, as well as service technicians, by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts.
  • Ensure required parts are available when needed.

  • Focus on customer and technician satisfaction while ensuring profitability.
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding parts questions in a professional manner.
  • Set monthly and annual goals for the Parts Department with the Parts Manager and report on progress.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the parts department, including hazardous waste disposal, emergency response, safe driving, and OSHA Right-to-Know.
  • Ensure use of proper safety equipment.
  • Process data and organize it for management analysis.
