About The Position

The Parts & Service Representative (PSR) plays a key role in supporting customers with parts identification, ordering, and fulfillment for John Deere equipment. This position ensures timely and accurate parts support, maintains organized inventory, and promotes John Deere products and services. The PSR also provides exceptional customer service and builds lasting relationships to support both retail and internal service operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in parts, retail, or customer service
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership management systems

Nice To Haves

  • technical or agricultural background preferred
  • equipment industry a plus
  • Familiarity with John Deere equipment and parts systems preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians in locating and ordering parts and accessories
  • Utilize Service Center and Standard Jobs to ensure parts lists for customers and technicians are complete.
  • Promote John Deere parts, services, and seasonal offers to drive sales
  • Maintain organized, accurate inventory levels and perform stock checks
  • Process parts order, returns, warranties, and special orders
  • Ensure the parts counter and displays are clean, stocked, and visually appealing
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive service
  • Support field technicians with parts needs and service documentation
  • Operate within dealership systems to update orders, inventory, and customer records
  • Stay current on John Deere product knowledge and promotions
  • Participating in periodic physical inventory and stock management
