About The Position

We are growing at Vermeer All Roads in Ashland, VA and searching for an experienced Parts Counter Representative to join our team! If you're a parts guru who enjoys researching and problem-solving, we want to talk to you! In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating and selling heavy-duty and heavy-equipment parts to both internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding service.

Requirements

• Prior experience in heavy-duty and/or heavy equipment parts strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting required parts and provide accurate price quotes
• Upsell specials and advise customers on companion part requirements
• Receive payments and process credit authorizations
• Follow up with customers regarding back-ordered parts
• Support technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for existing work orders
• Coordinate procurement of parts with the Parts Manager
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
