About The Position

Transteck, Inc. is seeking an experienced Part-Time Parts Counter person for their Freightliner of Elkton heavy truck dealership. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 2 pm - 7 pm. Transteck is one of the largest Freightliner dealer groups in the North East United States with 14 locations and 4 body shops, over 200 trained technicians, and over $7,000,000 in parts inventory. They utilize state-of-the-art facilities and offer the resources of a large company while maintaining a personal touch at their 13 locations spanning from Pittsburgh to New Jersey, through Maryland, to Northern Virginia.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One-Two years sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

• In person/phone/email/online sales
• Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
• Meet sales goals and gross profit goals
• Order parts according to dealership procedures
• Maintain special order parts for service department
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed
• Process core/warranty according to company guidelines
