About The Position

Hyundai of Dallas is hiring a Parts Counter Consultant to assist customers and technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts. This role involves managing inventory, processing sales, handling phone inquiries, and ordering items not currently in stock. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be well-organized, and have basic computer proficiency. Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for up to 5 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must complete the pre-employment screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience and knowledge of automotive parts are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers and technicians identify and select the right parts and accessories, offering product information and recommendations.
  • Process sales, handle phone inquiries, locate parts in-store, and order back-ordered items as needed.
  • Stock shelves, organize parts, perform counts, and ensure accurate stick levels.
  • Maintain sales records, communicate with suppliers, and follow up on special orders.
  • Keep the parts counter clean, organized, and handle deliveries/pickups.
