About The Position

Respond to customer inquiries and needs for parts in person and by telephone which includes providing quotes/estimates of the cost. Possess knowledge of products, services, and parts. Quickly learn new products and promotions. Complete necessary paperwork for each transaction in an accurate, timely manner. Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor for restocking charges on all parts sales completed.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years working experience in a heavy duty truck parts department
• Same amount of experience as a diesel mechanic also meets this qualification
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
• Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must be familiar with using a PC to select parts and provide price quotes to customer
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• One year of parts counter sales experience with heavy duty diesel engine/truck trailer parts preferred
