About The Position

Eastern Waste Systems is a privately owned, locally operated Residential Bulk Removal Company with a strong presence across South Florida. We take pride in providing reliable, safe, and efficient waste removal services - and we’re growing! The Parts Coordinator maintains proper fleet inventory and provides support to the Fleet Technicians with the locating, delivering and inventorying the necessary parts and supplies, tires and tools to keep company fleet and equipment operating in optimum conditions.

Requirements

Must possess knowledge in mechanical parts pertaining to diesel and gasoline engines.
Must possess knowledge with medium to heavy duty trucks.
Must be able to identify parts and their locations.
Must be able to control inventory.
Must possess computer knowledge.
Must possess shipping and receiving experience.
3-5 years of experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Willing to work overtime when requested.
Willing to work outside the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position.
Must have valid Florida driver’s license.
Proficient with inventory software, POS systems, computers, and the internet.
Ability to lift heavy items, bend, twist, turn, climb ladders and stairs.

Strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills: professional appearance.
Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

Attend to call from technicians.
Determine the necessary part(s) needed to complete the repair(s).
Receive inventory from vendors and correctly identify, label and stock, both physically and in the computer.
Maintain proper inventory levels with Min’s and Max’s.
Physically unload parts and place in the proper locations.
Load and unload technician parts to and from service trucks.
