About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading Fleet Maintenance Company, is seeking an experienced Part Time Light/Medium Duty Parts Coordinator. This role reports to the Purchasing Manager and is responsible for inside parts ordering. The ideal candidate will build and maintain productive relationships with internal teammates and meet central purchasing objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a highly competitive market.
  • Prior success selling wholesale auto parts, particularly in the aftermarket industry, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of light/medium duty parts/vehicles.
  • Exceptional phone skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone; clear enunciation; exceptional listening skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
  • Results focused, producer, closer, committed to growth.
  • Experience with POS system is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives.
  • Outgoing and assertive personality with initiative, proactivity, a positive attitude, and a “can-do attitude.”

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications in P1 and P2 are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal customers.
  • Work with internal customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Become familiar with client’s vehicle assignments.
  • Locate difficult-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for the best deals.
  • Accurately quote parts and input information into the management system.
  • Track lost sales.
  • Assist other parts coordinators when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
