About The Position

Woods Machinery is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Parts Coordinator / Parts Counter Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our parts department, assisting customers with finding the right components for their needs and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Requirements

  • Preference given to candidates with over a year of experience in parts sales or a related field, coupled with a strong aptitude for quickly grasping industry knowledge.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with parts management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Manage and respond to a high volume of inbound communications, including phone calls, texts, and emails, providing timely and effective resolution to customer inquiries.
  • Identify and locate the correct parts based on customer needs, specifications, and equipment details.
  • Provide expert advice on parts selection and compatibility.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain organized and up to date parts inventory.
  • Upsell additional products and accessories to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming parts shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate and execute the preparation of outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Post freight accurately to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and assist in the execution of comprehensive inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with the parts team to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations.
  • Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and advancements in parts technology.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
