About The Position

McCarthy Auto Group is seeking a Full-Time Parts Consultant for their McCarthy Hyundai location in Lawrence. This role supports the growth and profitability of the Parts Department by assisting the Service Department, Sales Department, and wholesale and retail customers in a friendly and professional manner. The position emphasizes providing excellent customer service, accurately identifying parts, and assisting with inventory management, with a focus on same-day repairs in the Service Department.

Requirements

One or more years of Parts Counter experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Capable of problem identification and resolution.
Possess good time management skills.
Team oriented with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent service by listening to customer and internal inquiries and requests, asking questions to ensure understanding of needs, and supplying parts in a timely manner.
Perform a variety of customer service and stocking duties related to the receiving, sales and delivery of parts and accessories with an emphasis on same day repairs in the Service Department.
Properly identify parts needed to provide an accurate price and availability.
Assist with inventory management, the checking in, inspection and stocking of parts.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Demonstrate commitment to superior customer service.
