About The Position

Western Express HQ is in Nashville, TN. All outside terminals, located all over the country, have a small town, tight knit family atmosphere. Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family! Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.

Previous experience with parts, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Order, receive, organize, and stock truck and trailer parts and supplies for the maintenance shop.
Issue parts to technicians and accurately bill parts to the appropriate repair orders.
Monitor inventory levels and identify slow- and fast-moving parts to ensure timely replenishment and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
Create, review, and monitor work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the parts department remains organized and efficient.
Work closely with the Parts Manager, maintenance team, and other departments to support daily operations.
