About The Position
Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Manufacturing-Parts Clerk at their equipment processing center in Brunswick, GA. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, ordering parts, following up on procedures, and handling shipping and receiving of parts. The position requires operating a forklift and maintaining workplace safety standards.
Requirements
- Prior forklift experience with both sit down and stand up.
- Proficient with the Customers ordering system.
- Data entry experience and basic understanding of inventory processes and cycle counts.
- Experience with ordering systems.
- Knowledge of handheld scanners.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Order parts as required.
- Follow up on countermeasures to provide input to management that procedure is in place and being followed.
- Shipping and receiving parts.
- Monitor inventory levels and cycle counts.
- Order parts and supplies from various vendors.
- Operate forklift to transport material to specific locations.
- Maintain workplace safety standards following company procedures on transport of materials.
