About The Position
The Parts’ Builder is responsible for assembling a variety of kits, including shower kits, and executing installation tasks using various materials. This role demands versatility, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. The Builder ensures that tools and machinery are operated safely, remain functional, and are well-maintained.
Requirements
- Proficient in reading and using a tape measure.
- Skilled in handling power tools, hand tools, and basic construction equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and installation manuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to see, and speak, hear, write, and understand English.
- Sustained attention to detail.
- Ability to read and analyze data and other written information.
- Minimal physical exertion.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality standards for products are followed
- Read blueprints
- Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Inspect and test materials and equipment
- Use necessary quality tools and equipment to measure products
- Use power tools and equipment
- Cut plastic piping
- Bend/fit piping
- Assemble product
- Develop methods, tools, and processes to measure, understand, and improve core processes and perform these activities in alignment with company values.
- Participate on project teams as needed
- Other duties as assigned
