Join us and be part of our success! This role is for the 2nd Shift at the Reed Lane facility, specifically in Department 1372 as a Parts Attendant. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 12:00 pm to 08:00 pm, with a pay rate of $16.75 per hour.

Requirements

  • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Orders parts.
  • Sends out repair and return.
  • Performs inventory.
  • Puts parts in location.
  • Inputs work orders into MP2.
  • Gets parts for mechanics when needed.
  • Operates power equipment such as scissor lift or forklift to move parts, motors, etc.
  • Must pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for O.K. Foods.
