Responsibilities

  • Help customers find the right parts. Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through electronic inquiries with friendly, knowledgeable service.
  • Support our service team. Work closely with technicians and service advisors to identify, locate, and provide the parts needed for repairs.
  • Identify parts accurately. Use parts catalogs, vehicle information, and VINs to confirm fitment and reduce ordering errors.
  • Process parts orders and sales. Prepare accurate quotes, invoices, and orders, and document transactions carefully.
  • Keep people informed. Follow up on special orders, backorders, and availability so customers and coworkers know what to expect.
  • Receive and organize inventory. Check incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, record received items, and place parts in their proper locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy. Help with inventory counts, report discrepancies, and keep shelves and storage areas organized.
  • Handle returns properly. Process eligible returns and core exchanges according to dealership and manufacturer procedures.
  • Recommend helpful products. Explain relevant parts and accessory options based on the customer’s needs.
  • Take care of the workspace. Keep the counter and stockroom clean, safe, and efficient while following established handling procedures.
  • Be a reliable teammate. Communicate clearly, help solve problems, and pitch in where needed to keep the department running smoothly.
