About The Position

The Parts Counter Representative provides parts support to both customers and internal service technicians within our Agriculture division. This role is responsible for assisting with parts identification, order processing, and delivering excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email. Working in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will manage multiple requests, support inventory and warehouse operations, and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of parts needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in parts sales, counter service, or a related role preferred
  • Must be 21+ years of age with a valid drivers license and ability to drive for company purposes
  • Ability to lift parts and materials as required for warehouse and delivery duties
  • Parts knowledge required, with the ability to identify common components (e.g., alternators, mechanical parts, etc.)
  • Experience in the agriculture or heavy equipment industry is a plus; automotive parts experience will also be considered
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate business systems and parts lookup tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work accurately in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the agriculture or heavy equipment industry is a plus; automotive parts experience will also be considered

Responsibilities

  • Provide parts service to both customers and internal mechanics in person and over the phone.
  • Communicate effectively to sell company parts and services via phone, email, and over-the-counter transactions.
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including stocking, inventory, and parts delivery to customers as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and a customer-first attitude when handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and processing orders.
  • Accurately process high-volume accounts while prioritizing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and online resources to locate and process parts information efficiently.
  • Follow all Auto and Equipment Safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws, vehicle limits, and weather conditions.
  • Occasionally travel to customer or prospective client locations for parts delivery or service needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support dealership goals.
