About The Position

At Shasta Harley-Davidson, we're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Parts Associate / Parts Counterperson to join our team. This position is at the center of our Parts and Service operation. You'll work directly with customers, technicians, and other dealership departments to identify the right parts and accessories, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and help keep our riders on the road. This isn't just an order-taking position. We're looking for someone who can provide great customer service, learn our products, build relationships, and sell.

Requirements

• Previous parts counter, automotive, motorcycle, powersports, or dealership experience preferred
• Retail sales experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Sales-minded with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
• Comfortable using computers, inventory systems, electronic parts catalogs, and dealership software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, parts, and accessories is a strong plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Motorcycle endorsement preferred
• Availability to work weekends and peak dealership events

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the Parts Counter, over the phone, and throughout the dealership
• Identify and locate the correct OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Drive retail parts and accessory sales while providing a first-class customer experience
• Build parts estimates and accurately process customer transactions
• Support Service Advisors and Technicians with parts required for repair orders
• Maintain and track special-order parts and follow up with customers
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory
• Assist with cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly merchandised parts displays
• Develop strong product knowledge of Harley-Davidson parts, accessories, and motorcycle fitment
• Work closely with Service, Sales, and MotorClothes to maximize opportunities throughout the dealership
• Follow all dealership processes, procedures, and inventory controls

• $19.00 - $23.00/hour based on experience
• Retail sales commission in addition to hourly compensation
