About The Position

Morrison Industrial Equipment is currently looking for a Parts and Inventory Specialist at our Central Parts Distribution Warehouse located in Grand Rapids, MI. Responsibilities

  • Perform parts look-up and identification to support customer needs
  • Process order entry accurately and efficiently within system guidelines
  • Manage purchasing activities, including supplier communication, order placement, and follow-up
  • Execute stock ordering strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Coordinate and process branch vendor returns, ensuring proper documentation and system updates
  • Perform quality control for branches, ensuring accuracy of parts, processes, and system data
  • Provide database and system support for users, including part record maintenance, troubleshooting, and data accuracy
  • Handle parts receiving, including verification, system entry, and stocking
  • Coordinate shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate outbound orders
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with vendors regarding orders, returns, and issue resolution
  • Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and data integrity
  • Contribute to process improvements and system-wide efficiencies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
