About The Position

Parts Counter Associate We are seeking talented, energetic and motivated individuals with the ambition to become part of our team. You must have a Can-Do attitude. Experience is not needed though certainly valued. Whether you are new to the industry or have years of automotive experience we are looking for individuals to work in the fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Able to maintain a professional image and demeanor.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer & phone skills.
Positive attitude is a must!
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Parts experienced preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Team player
Maintain an organized, orderly and clean work environment.
Must pass a background check and drug test
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assists all customers (retail & shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professionally & efficiently.
Informs customers of part requirements and specials.
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Pulls and fills orders from stock.
Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order -if necessary.
Notifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.
Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
Ensure that all charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of their invoice.
Close out daily cash register and consolidate credit card invoices at the end of the day
